Sahasrakalasabhishekam was conducted by Priest Sri. Samudrala Venkatacharya Swamy
with 1000 kalashas under the blessings of H.H. Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji . Over 1000
devotees have participated in this wonderful event. H.H. Chinna Jeeyar Swamivaru
explained the process and importance of why so much Milk, Yogurt, Honey, Water
etc. is used to sanctify the deities.

Theertha Goshti followed by Samasrayanams Several devotees who have been waiting for years have utilized the opportunity
to be blessed with Asthakshari Maha Mantra by our beloved Jagadacharya Sri Sri
Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji. The devotees were delighted and proud for having been
initiated the Astakshari Maha Mantra, by Swamiji himself.
Sri Srinivasa Kalyana Mahotsavam
A new JET Baltimore Prajna / VT Seva chapter was inaugurated under the young and
energetic leadership of Sri. Praveen and Smt. Kavitha.
During this inauguration, the chapter celebrated Sri Srinivasa Kalyanam, which
was attended by over 400 devotees.
H.H. Chinna Jeeyar Swamivaru blessed the devotees with Sri Srinivasa moorthis
and guided the pooja procedure.

PRAJNA / VT Seva Showcase
Smt. Saikantha Lakshmi Raparla, JET DC Cultural Coordinator, with the help of Prajna
teachers and parent helpers, co-ordinated an event to show case the skills
acquired by Prajna students during the year, to our beloved Acharya H.H. Chinna
Jeeyar Swamivaru.
JET DC Prajna team proudly announced a new Prajna Center starting in Ashburn, in
addition to the existing Reston center.
Sri.
Tejaswi Raparla, VT Seva Director, presented the Washington DC VT Seva chapter's
activities, some of which were Cancer Walkathon, Juvenile Diabetis, Earth Day,
Mothers Day and ongoing weekly Chess Club.
Volunteers Meeting
Sri.
Gunderao (Treasurer) & Smt. Vidya Siripuram (Prasadam Coordinator) hosted a
volunteer meeting with Swamiji during the evening, at their residence in
Herndon.
All the chapter members and volunteers enjoyed the close proximity of Sri
Swamivaru. H.H. blessed the entire team and expressed his pleasure for the
teamwork of Washington DC chapter's members.

Seva Kaalam in the morning and Sri Swamiji’s discourse followed by QA Session in
the evening at Herndon Middle School.
JET DC recognized all its volunteers for their dedicated service throughout the
year.

After Seva Kaalam, Sri Swamivaru continued his USA trip to his next stop, South
Carolina. Devotees wished him a safe journey and gave him a warm send off with
memories to cherish forever.

Students will learn Indian (Vedic) Culture and
traditions , Vedic literature and much more.. with lots
of fun Stories from our Ithi:hasas and puranas.
The Parayana will take place either at an interested
devotee's house OR on Sunday at our PRAJNA Center, Good
Beginnings School, 11501 Reston VA 20191 from 3:15 PM to
4:00 PM.
Interested devotees can request to have the Parayana performed in their
